Natoya spent many years working as an orthopaedic nurse and her diligence with patient care peaked her interest in rehabilitation nursing. She has several years experience working at University Hospital of the West Indies and she has been working with Rehabilitation Institute of the Caribbean since its inception. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Northern Caribbean University, Jamaica and a Master of Science degree in Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety at the University of the West Indies. Natoya also holds US Board certification in wound management.
She is an integral team member in our multidisciplinary team approach as we care for the disabled or ill patients to regain their highest level of independence thus returning to optimal functioning. Natoya believes that no patient should receive sub-optimal care.
